Due to ongoing negotiations between Martz Gold Line and Local 689, Commuter Bus Service to Columbia/Silver Spring (Routes 305, 315, & 325) and Waldorf/La Plata (Routes 630, 640, & 735) will not operate on Wednesday, April 30, 2025. Riders traveling from Columbia and Silver Spring, can use their Commuter Bus monthly passes, 10-trip tickets and CharmPass tickets on MARC Train. Passengers on routes 630, 640, & 735 may consider alternate service on routes 610, 620, 650, 705, 715, & 725. To leave Washington, DC on Wednesday afternoon, use stops along K Street, N.W. and riders on route 735 may also board the 850 which will make a stop at Golden Beach. Passengers are encouraged to periodically check the MTA website (mta.maryland.gov) for the most up-to-date information regarding service. As always, we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

MARC Camden and Brunswick - Heat Related Speed Restrictions
CSX has issued heat-related speed restrictions on the Camden and Brunswick Lines for today. Trains will travel at reduced speed on both lines. 10-15 minute delays are possible--the fewer stops a train makes, the more delay it will incur (since express trains operate longer distances at a higher rate of speed). MARC Camden Line trackwork
CSX Transportation is performing trackwork on the Camden Line through May 9 at various locations between St. Denis and Washington. The work, much like highway maintenance, is necessary to maintain a safe and comfortable ride for all passengers. The work will be conducted primarily outside of MARC Train service hours, however, trains may experience 5-15 minute delays as maximum authorized speeds are temporarily reduced after a section of track is worked on. Thank you for your patience and understanding as CSX performs this necessary maintenance.
